PROCESS
MEET
The first step of this phase is a phone call to introduce ourselves, discuss your project, and set up a complimentary in-home consultation.
During your in-home consultation, the focus will be getting to know you and your project. We will discuss your wants and needs, your desired aesthetic, and how much you would like to invest in your project.
Upon deciding to proceed with Blue Ridge Kitchens & Design, a design agreement will be presented to you for approval. Detailed measurements and photos will be taken (or floorpans requested should your project be new construction) and a followup design presentation meeting will be scheduled.
CONCEPTUALIZE
During this phase, a design proposal will be prepared including sketches, floorpans, and perspective renderings.
PRESENT
One to two weeks after your in-home consultation we will meet to review the concept proposal for your new space. This meeting may be in your home or a vendor's showroom to review cabinetry options, should you decide to source through Blue Ridge Kitchens & Design. Modifications can be made during this meeting. For any changes requiring additional time outside of this meeting, a followup session will be scheduled.
REFINE
EXECUTE
During this phase, finalizing your design will require clear expectations and frequent communication. The scope of your project, modifications, timeline, and timely decision-making will impact the amount of time this phase requires.
The final documents for your new space will be received at the end of this phase and will consist of floorplans, elevations, renderings, specifications, and pricing for any items purchased through Blue Ridge Kitchens & Design.
Regardless of where you purchase your cabinetry, we will collaborate with your contractor / architect on the design of your new space, keeping your vision and expectations in mind at all times.
